Holmont Inudstries Ltd

Holmont Industries Limited is the manufacturer of the sport accessory line OLYMPIA and of NEOSPORT, a line of neoprene support accessories. Holmont is also the exclusive distributor for Canada and USA of the DOITE line of camping accessories.

Founded in April 1964 by Normand Mondor, Holmont Industries Ltd. started as a company producing hospital products (sanitary belts) and as a packaging company that distributed sewing articles. Soon afterwards, the production of sportswear and hockey accessories was started. Eventually the packaging division and the hospital products division faded out while the sportswear and hockey accessories divisions expanded.

Eventually, the competition forced the closure of the clothing division and in 2003 the company underwent major changes when Martin Mondor, the son of the founder, bought the company.

Today, from its plant located in Saint-Hyacinthe (Quebec, Canada), 25 miles east of Montreal, the company produces and distributes various sport articles through an important network of Canadian, American and European retailers and distributors with whom it has developed an excellent relationship over the years.

Since 2006, Holmont is progressing and exploring new possibilities by developing new products for its hockey line and by adding to its activities the distribution of the Doite line in Canada and U.S.A.
